There
are 12 points possible. If you go beyond what is asked for, you will
be awarded extra points for exceptional work. If you want to discuss
your grade, Mr. Shields is available during lunch or work times in class.
The
paper is to be a personal narrative of your experiences while "buying"
your car. The first part of it should explain the project and your
situation. Tell how much money you had to work with and how you were
able to get it. You should explain what you liked, didn't like, enjoyed,
or just about lost your mind over. Tell what types of things surprised
you. Tell the things that you really enjoyed and what things were
difficult for you. What did you learn that you would use when you
purchase your own first automobile? What life skills did you learn?
The paper should be such that someone who came to visit our school and
had no idea about the project could read and then have an understanding
of what this project is all about.
